The Subversive Power Of Women’s Laughter: Over 700 Women Artists Gather for An Historic Photo Event At Hauser Wirth & Schimmel
Huff Post Feminism featured Blog Post – and Huffington Post, September 9, 2016 . A feminist angle on an historic photo event, Now Be Here which galvanized over 700 women artists to join in celebration – along with art professionals(almost 1000 people in total.) L. A feminism and political activism is known for combining celebration, humor and costume and this event was filled with laughter, which I argue can be subversive. A new brand of cross-generational, gender fluid feminism is trending in all areas of life in 2016 and Hauser Wirth & Schimmel has tapped into this zeitgeist.
